Otto Kroeger is a bestselling author and expert in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(r) (MBTI(r)) Assessment. He served as president of the Association of Psychological Type International and is a current member of the National Training Laboratory Institute of Applied Behavioral Sciences. An absolute MUST READ! While personality is my hobby, this clearly laid out book will give you easy ways to recognize the style preferences of others and why your style makes you the way you are. I have much more acceptance of myself and less anger toward others by having the power of this information. When I test elements of it and find them to be true I can work with my new knowledge to lead me through conflict points with much more power and control. Thank you so much!

A Must Have

This book was recommended to me by someone who is trained in Personality Types. I took the questionnaire with this person so this book is the 'companion' to the work I've been doing. But, it is not necessary to use the book along with a professional!!
Type Talk is written very well, easy to understand, with a lot of examples. It's not written in a technical fashion, so any lay person can understand what is discussed.
As far as the information: packed full. This is a great book. I'm thinking of picking up a few copies for some people close to me. (I'd give them my copy when I'm done but I'm going to hang on to for future reference!) The authors don't expect the book to be the final, end-all problem solver. Rather, it's a tool to understand the way people tend to act, think and talk.
It's great for figuring out relationships at home, work or with friends and why we all react the way we do. I highly recommend it.
